Sometimes we go outside (gasp) and we venture to stores (double gasp)
So it was quite an event getting out and going in, and coming out again...but we succeeded. We went on a shopping trip for Bekah's bday party and we were just coming out ( all four kids and me )
A nice lady came running after me ( I thought I had left something in the store) but she told me she had some R-A-B-B-I-T-S in her car, and if my kids could have them....I told her it was ok...
so she went to her car and got them and brought them to the kids...
She was so HAPPY to be giving something away that she no longer needed ( for reasons unknown to us of course)
Maybe all her kids were grown and she no longer needed them.
But the Idea of just giving away something to a total stranger was heartwarming.... She wished us all a Merry Christmas, and we were all very thankful. It was a lesson in receiving something that we would not normally BUY, but given in love from a stranger made me all warm inside!
Here's the kids new bunnies! and a brown one for Isaac...
So for today, I am grateful for giving strangers, that show love unconditionally. Merry Christmas!
